The Camino Francés, which passes through Burgos, León, Astorga, Ponferrada, and Galicia, is the most famous of the routes to Santiago and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking the Way was specifically designed for a group of students. It is not intended to recreate a pilgrimage spanning hundreds of miles, but rather to allow students to truly understand and experience the Camino.
