Conditions for participation are:

  • Receipt of signed Registration form and Agreement letter
  • Receipt of completed online forms
  • Payments made on due dates

AGREEMENT

Conditions for participation in a Superciao Tour trip are contingent upon:

  • Receipt of completed Trip registration form on superciaotour.com for each participant, carefully filling in all the required fields.
  • Upload of travel documents requested: a valid passport and the Waiver Liability
    (minors must have authorized signature of parent or guardian).
  • Payments made on due dates, and as specified in partial payments or lump sum.

Each participant can:

  • follow the trip itinerary online
  • verify and make payments towards each participant’s account.

Tour Program

The Programs on the website are sample descriptions only.
Superciao Tour will insert the final Program and details in your website area, 30 days prior to departure and will inform the Group Leader and all the participants of all the Tour details: the DAY BY DAY.
The Day by Day will provide all information pertinent to your trip.

TOUR RESERVATION AND REGISTRATION
The participant, once the trip has been activated and a Group code has been assigned, will completes the Trip Registration form online by entering the required personal data and signing the Terms and Conditions. Within 72 hours of registrations, the participant will receive another email from tour@superciaotour.com in order to access to the Customer Area and complete the registrations paying the deposit.

EXTENDED STAYS ON THE PROGRAM
SCT offers extra days or extensions on its Programs, and are contingent on total group participation.
Extra days include: hotel accommodations, SCT Tour Leader’s services 24/24h, dinner, and transfers to the airport. All fees for extended stays become immediately non-refundable.

PROGRAM CHANGES
SCT reserves the right to make any necessary changes pertaining to activities closures, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety of participants. SCT may cancel a Tour due to insufficient participants.

Registrations

DEADLINES
Registrations are only processed upon receipt of the online registration form with respective payments.
SCT reserves the right to refuse any registration when air or land space are full, or after ticketing deadlines. New registrations are not normally accepted within 65 days of departure.
In the unusual circumstance that new registrations are accepted within 65 days of departure, full payment and additional air or land surcharges are due immediately upon registration.
Within 65 days prior and up to 29 days prior to departure date, SCT will make every effort to accommodate new bookings, providing air and land accommodations if available; but cannot guarantee same price as the contract. If confirmed, full payment must be sent immediately or within 48 hours of confirmation. Reservations made within 65 days of the travel date are subject to a $100.00 late registration fee. If a registration is refused, a full refund will be made within 45 days of such refusal.

LAND ONLY
Participants may choose to purchase only the land portion of the trip. Participants must then make their own round trip travel arrangements and join the group at the first hotel accommodation. When a participant is not with the main group, SCT is not responsible for the participant in any way. Domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind outside SCT are responsibility of client: Tour participants who choose land only must arrange transportation from airport to the first hotel and vice versa on their own.
SCT will deduct $ 1000.00 from the package price quote.

RETURN INDEPENDENTLY
In order to return independently, the participant must write to SCT 90 days prior to the departure, indicating the specific date and the city where the participant will leave the group. No changes can be made within 65 days prior to the departure. The confirmation of flight is subject to availability. SCT will invoice $250.00 alternate return fee plus any additional airlines and land transport charges.

Prices

PRICE GUARANTEE
The tour cost is per person, and based on triple and quad occupancy (unless otherwise specified in the program). It is guaranteed for 15 days from the date of Registration on the Website, and based on the number of the participants.

When the participant completes the registration and fills in the online data, he/she accepts the SCT Terms & Conditions and will receive an email confirming the accepted conditions.

All tour prices are shown in US Dollars and in effect at the time of printing. All rates are subject to increase such as but not limited to: any devaluation of the US Dollar, fuel surcharges imposed by the airline company, land services, taxes, airports, government etc.
Airport taxes are included in the tour costs and are subject to change until ticket issuance, 65 days prior to departure date. Airport taxes are based on government increases which are also subject to change until tickets are issued. Airport taxes include Federal Inspection Fees for the U.S. Customs and Immigration; International Air Transportation tax; Agricultural tax; security fees, and other airport related taxes. Please note that unless airline ticket has been paid for and issued, airport taxes are subject to change.
All rates are final once full payment is made.
The prices do not include transportation between your home and airport and vice versa.

PACKAGE PRICE TOUR COST INCLUDES:

Transportation

  • Round-trip air transportation: New York – Italy – New York.
  • Transfer from Airport to and from Hotel via private motor-coach
  • Long distance transfer via private motor-coach
  • Transportation within cities, via buses and trains (when required) and walking

Accommodations

  • N. nights (depending on the program): Three or four stars hotel.
  • (Supplement is $ 500 for single room, and $ 180 + $ 180 for double room).
  • Breakfast and dinner (or lunch) are included daily (water and other beverages are not included, unless otherwise specified in the day by day menu).

Should you choose not to take a meal, there is no refund for unused meals. We will try and accommodate each special meal request on flights as well as at restaurant. Please alert us to any dietary restrictions at the time of booking.

Touring

  • Entrance fees to museums specified in tour
  • Specialized English local guides for entrance to specified museums, certified by the Association of Professional Guides

School visit

Security

  • Accompanying Tour Leader for duration of the tour 24/7
  • Basic liability insurance

TOUR COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Room supplement for single or double room accommodation
  • Optional Trip Protection/Cancellation Insurance
  • Non-refundable Protection/Cancellation Plan fees
  • Excess baggage fee
  • Overnight meals in the USA prior to departure or upon return of the international flight
  • Transportation from participant’s home to the airport of departure and back
  • Lunches and beverages other than water, unless otherwise specified in the day by day menu
  • Tips and gratuities to Tour Leader and long distance bus driver
  • Personal expenses: purchases, phone cards, hotel mini bar, laundry
  • Optional excursions
  • Surcharges due to changes in currency
  • Any mandatory new or increased fees/taxes/fuel surcharge levied on airline tickets – Airport taxes that are collected on the spot in foreign airports
  • Departures from other cities will incur additional add-on fee but it will be confirmed at the time of delivery of the official SCT quote to the Group leader.
  • Deviations for optional pre/post-tour are optional at a fee of $ 250.00 plus any additional cost associated with services included in the pre/post tour.
  • Alternate departure and return must be requested in writing.

Payments

FORMS OF PAYMENT.
A non-refundable deposit of $ 250.00 per person is required in order to be confirmed on the tour.
The second payment of $ 1,000.00 is required within 15 days of Registration + additional cost for Protection Plan (price to be confirmed at the time of registration).
Full payment must be received within 65 days from the departure date.

  • School – In case of a payment by the school, a bank transfer can be made

LATE FEES
Participants who do not meet payment deadlines (65 days from departure) will be subject to a late fee: $ 100.00 for each payment.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs SCT incurs long before groups ever depart.
Notice of cancellation from a tour will only be accepted from the participant, his or her legal guardian or the group leader.
The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which SCT receives written notice to the following email addresses:

Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; monies cannot be transferred to another account.
The refunds will be made within 50 days from the request.

  1. SUPERCIAO TOUR STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
    90 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus a $250 cancellation fee*.
    89 to 66 days prior to departure: Full refund minus a $450 cancellation fee*.
    65 to 30 days prior to departure: Refund 50% of the Program Fee*.
    29 days or less prior to departure: No refund will be issued.
  2. CANCELLATION WITH REPLACEMENT**
    90 days or more prior to departure- Full refund less the non-refundable $250 cancellation fee*.
    89 – 66 days prior to departure – Full refund less a $ 350 substitution fee*.
    65 days or less prior to departure- Replacement can no longer be accepted.

* Non-refundable fees are also deducted from refunds.
** When a participant cancels the reservation but finds a person to replace him or her for the same Program.

AIR TRANSPORTATION AND INFORMATION

SCT utilizes regularly scheduled flights.
JFK and Newark airports are used interchangeably for New York departures.
To avoid potential increases, you may choose to pay for your airline tickets in full at any time.
Once issued, airline tickets are no longer subject to potential increases but are fully non-refundable. Superciao Tour srl maintains the right to assess fuel surcharges up to 65 days prior to departure. Air transportation is in economy class on IATA-approved carriers. Fares are based on levels in effect at the time of acceptance of the proposal and prices and schedules are subject to change without notice. Single plane service is not guaranteed; alternative aircraft may be substituted at any time, and aircraft may make additional stops. Such changes will not create a right to cancellation or refund. Participants moved onto a weekend will pay the surcharge.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid US passport is required for travel for US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport please contact your closest passport office. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the return date. US citizens do not need to obtain visas for Italy. When and if visa is required it is passenger’s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate travel documents will incur usual penalties.

PASSPORT NAME
Participant’s name must be registered EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON ONE’S PASSPORT!
Upon receipt of the airline ticket, the passenger is responsible to check the itinerary, spelling of his/her name, dates, times to insure its validity. If the airline allows, it will charge a $ 250 change fee each time the ticket is altered. Once a ticket is issued, it belongs to person in whose name it was issued.
The participant will be responsible for any fees applied by the airline if exact information has not been provided. Should the ticket have any errors, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Superciao Tour srl immediately.

SPECIAL TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO COVID-19
SCT will inform and support the group with all the necessary information for the procedures to be implemented according to the pandemic situation at the time of travel. Each participant must complete and sign a WAIVER OF LIABILITY form.

BAGGAGE
Each tour participant is advised to bring one suitcase and one small carry-on bag (8”x14”x22”). The Airlines New Baggage Regulations are as follows:
* For passengers travelling in Economy-Class: 1 piece at 50lb (23kg) maximum dimensions of 45 in. (158 cm); the sum of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 62 in. (158 cm) for each bag.
* Carry on Items: 1 piece maximum weight 18lb (8kg), maximum dimensions 22x15x8 in (55x40x20 cm).

Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances.

Superciao Tour is not responsible for any loss, delay of or damage to luggage or its contents and for any event during the time the participants are not on board.

DEPARTURE AND TICKETS
SCT will notify Group Leader and participants on the Website or by E-mail the exact day of departure and flight plan 65 days before the departure. The Group Leader also will be responsible for informing participants. SCT will only send tickets and travel documents to the group leader and will send tickets to participants registering without a group leader or who are travelling from another city. Airline tickets will be sent only if full payment and the signed release from all participants has been received.
