MORNING
Arrival in Napoli and transfer by private bus to the hotel in Sorrento (see photo), where the great tenor Enrico Caruso once stayed.
Aperitif offered at the hotel with tastings of local products.AFTERNOON
Stroll in Sorrento for an initial introduction to the city, famous for its sea views, Piazza Tasso, the picturesque historic center, the Convent of San Francesco, and the Basilica of Sant’Antonino.
For those interested, you can visit the MUSEUM OF SORRENTO WOOD INLAY, with numerous antique furniture decorated with traditional Sorrento wood inlay.EVENING
Welcome dinner with a typical Sorrento menu (Gnocchi alla sorrentina).

DAY 3 - Thursday, May 30th, 2024
FULL-DAY TRIP
Full-day excursion to Capri (see photo), the enchanting island. Boat trip to get there. It is thought that the island was named after the abundance of goats (capra in Latin) or more likely wild boars (κάπρος in Greek). The coast is rugged with numerous caves and coves alternating with steep cliffs.
The most famous is undoubtedly the Blue Grotto, where luminous effects have been described by many writers and poets. Characteristic of Capri are the famous Faraglioni, three small rocky islets not far from the shore that create a scenic and picturesque effect.
Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.

DAY 4 - Friday, May 31st, 2024
FULL-DAY TRIP
Excursion along the Amalfi Coast to Amalfi (see photo) by bus, with a panoramic stop to admire the Gulf of Salerno, which is also home to Positano, a charming and picturesque village known for its alleys and streets filled with artisan shops. The city of Amalfi is one of Italy’s pearls; it is the oldest of the Maritime Republics and gives its name to the stretch of coast that extends from Vietri sul Mare to Positano. Since 1997, Amalfi and the entire Amalfi Coast have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Amalfi’s historic center, you can see the Cathedral, the Cloister of Paradise.
Return by boat from Amalfi to Sorrento.
(If weather permits, the tour can also be done by boat on the way there with a stop in Positano.) -
DAY 5 - Saturday, June 1st, 2024
MORNING
Transfer to Castellabate with a stop in Vietri sul Mare. The village of Vietri is known worldwide for its ceramics (see photo), which you can admire in shops, on the streets, and in the CERAMIC MUSEUM for those who wish. Creative workshop: “ceramist for a day,” where clay is the main protagonist, creating a small work of art.
AFTERNOON
Arrival at the hotel in Castellabate. Walk in Castellabate: the Campania village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its beauty and uniqueness.
It features many characteristic alleys, spectacular sea views, and olive trees from the surrounding mountains, a perfect blend of sea and mountain. Castellabate is located in the Cilento National Park and is where the famous film “Benvenuti al Sud” was shot. You can admire the Castle, the Basilica of Santa Maria, and the famous small harbor.EVENING

DAY 6 - Sunday, June 2nd, 2024
FULL-DAY TRIP
Excursion to Sala Consilina, a witness to Norman presence in the area, where we will participate in the traditional and folkloric Infiorata festival (see photo). Those interested can visit the Certosa di Padula with a guide, the largest monastic complex in Southern Italy and one of the most interesting in Europe in terms of architectural grandeur and artistic treasures. Since 1998, the Certosa has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Return in the evening to Castellabate at the hotel for dinner. -
DAY 7 - Monday, June 3rd, 2024
MORNING
Transfer to Benevento with a stop in Salerno. Salerno is known as the “city of Christmas lights” and is a lively and fashionable center that shines with its own light. You can see some of its main monuments with a guide: Castello Arechi, the Medieval Aqueduct, and Salerno Cathedral, concluding with a walk along the promenade.
AFTERNOON
Arrival at the hotel in Benevento. Guided tour of Benevento, famous for its beautiful Roman-origin Theater (see photo) and the Church of Santa Sofia, a Lombard-origin religious building that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
EVENING
Dinner in a characteristic local restaurant with traditional Tarantella dance from the area.

DAY 8 - Tuesday, June 4th, 2024
FULL-DAY TRIP
Full-day excursion to the Royal Palace of Caserta (see photo) with stops in Montesarchio and Sant’Agata dei Goti. Panoramic visit to Montesarchio, a charming Campanian town known for its greenery and imposing medieval buildings on the slopes of a hill overlooking the countryside. The tour continues to Sant’Agata dei Goti, the “pearl of Sannio” perched on a tufa spur, one of the most characteristic villages in the province of Benevento, with a panoramic location that has witnessed the passage of Samnites, Romans, and Goths, as evidenced by its name. Guided visit to the Royal Palace of Caserta, one of the most precious gems among European royal residences and one of the most enchanting places in Italy. It is even larger than the Palace of Versailles. Return in the evening for a Falanghina wine tasting at a winery.

DAY 9 - Wednesday, June 5th, 2024
FULL-DAY TRIP
Excursion to Zungoli (see photo) and Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi. Visit Zungoli, a small jewel of tradition characterized by steep cobblestone streets that lead to the Norman citadel, with the unique feature of tufa caves now used in the production of the typical Caciocavallo Podolico cheese, along with DOP olive oil, one of the area’s excellence. Visit to the Caciocavallo production with tasting. The journey continues to Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi, a town in upper Irpinia, where various peoples have left their mark: Abbey of Goleto, Cathedral of Sant’Antonino Martire, and the Imperiale Castle.
Visit to the MEMORY, RURALITY AND EMIGRATION MUSEUM and a meeting with local authorities for an interview on the issue of emigration.
Return in the evening for dinner. -
DAY 10 - Thursday, June 6th, 2024
MORNING
Transfer to Napoli. Guided tour of the city with its main monuments. The path along the seaside is one of the most characteristic avenues in Napoli. From the San Carlo Theatre to Piazza del Plebiscito (see photo) and then to Piazza Martini, you can see the Basilica di San Francesco of Paola and the Royal Palace. Continuing along Via Caracciolo along the seaside, you arrive at Castel dell’Ovo and then proceed from Via Partenope to Villa Comunale and the Zoo Station, where you can see the most ancient Aquarium in Europe. Marechiaro, Mergellina, Santa Lucia.
Visit along the route to the Napoli Metro Line 1, known as the most beautiful metro line in the world.
AFTERNOON
Guided visit to the NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF NAPOLI, built in the second half of the 16th century and converted into a museum in the late 18th century. Here, you can admire the Farnese collection, the Pompeian collection, and the Egyptian collection.
EVENING
Dinner at a typical Neapolitan pizzeria to savor the famous Neapolitan pizza, imitated worldwide, but here you can taste it in its true form.

MORNING
Half-day excursion with a guide to the Pompei Excavations (see photo), a unique case in the world of an ancient city preserved intact to this day.
The House of the Faun, the Villa of the Mysteries, and the Lupanare are real treasures of art and wonders that never cease to amaze.
But every single stone or corner of Pompei is a treasure waiting to be discovered.AFTERNOON
Return to Napoli with free time to explore:
– Shopping
– Visit to the CAPDIMONTE MUSEUM, which houses galleries of ancient art, contemporary art, and a historic apartment.
– Visit to the NATIVITY SCENE MUSEUM in the Basilica of San Paolo Maggiore.

Transfer to Napoli Airport, via private motor coach, for a flight.
Lunch and snack served on board. Same day arrival. -

1. Return on a different date, based on your needs – upon request (visiting relatives or places of personal significance).
2. Extend the trip to Rome, only available upon request and at an additional cost.During the registration phase, it is necessary to formally express either option 1 or 2 for the conclusion of the trip in order to organize the return flight.
