Firenze and its masterpieces. In the afternoon historic and artistic itinerary among the most important vestiges of the Renaissance Culture: Piazza del Duomo, Battistero, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto.
Itinerary to discover the characteristic sites of San Gimignano, the town of the towers and Monteriggioni. We also offer a guided tour of the wine cellars and traditional olive oil production center.
This morning you will visit the Galleria dell’Accademia where you can admire many masterpieces of Italian and European painting from the 12th to 18th centuries, and the most impressive exposition of Renaissance Florence.
Upon arrival at Cinque Terre you will have a short tour of Cinque Terre in the region of Liguria, whose beautiful coast is studded with colorful houses. The day will end at your hotel for your dinner and overnight. Walk along the Love Route “La strada dell’amore”, Cinque Terre.
Transfer to Sardegna from Livorno. Sardegna is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea (after Sicily and before Cyprus) and an autonomous region of Italy.
The rest of the day: relax and walking city tour with our tour manager.
Transfer via private motor coach from Olbia to Alghero. Olbia, Porto Rotondo, Porto Cervo, Palau, la Maddalena, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Castelsardo, Stintino, Alghero.
Visit the city and the area northwest of Alghero Bay with Porto Conte and the relatives Punta Giglio and Capo Caccia. Neptune’s Grotto is the most famous and visited, thanks to the accessibility and connection by ferries and stepped path from land.
In the afternoon transfer to Cagliari with stop in Barumini. The nuraghe is the main type of ancient megalithic edifice found in Sardegna, developed during the Nuragic Age between 1900-730 BC. Today it has come to be the symbol of Sardegna and its distinctive culture, the Nuragic civilization.
The old part of the city (called Castello, the castle) lies on top of a hill, with a view of the Gulf of Cagliari (also known as Angels Gulf). Most of its city walls are intact, and feature the two early 14th century white limestone towers, the Torre di San Pancrazio and the Torre dell’Elefante; they are both typical examples of Pisan military architecture.
