Your Venetian adventure will continue by following the course of its canals, “campielli” (term used for the small squares of Venezia), its foundations, and bridges. You will admire some of the most famous places in the world: Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Ponte dei Sospiri, the Ca’ d’Oro and the Rialto.
Enjoy a gondola ride!
In the afternoon you will take private motorboat for a spectacular ride to reach the island of Murano. You will visit the world famous glass making factory, where traditional and artisan works are made: Mastro Vetraio explanation. Shopping for gifts in the glass factory.
Dinner.
Visit to a glass factory
Trasfer to Firenze via private coachbus and stop in Pisa. You will visit the Campo dei Miracoli, the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta, the Battistero, and the Leaning Tower – one of the most famous places in the world.
PLEASE NOTE: Ascent to the Leaning Tower optional at additional cost – to be scheduled for the group in advance.
Continue to Firenze and hotel check-in.

The city tour will start with a visit to the most important vestiges of Renaissance culture. Piazza del Duomo, Battistero, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto and Palazzo Strozzi. The tour continues to the Galleria dell’Accademia to admire its masterpieces of Italian and European art from the 12th to 18th centuries, its impressive collection of Florentine and Tuscan painting, and Michelangelo’s magnificent David.
Afternoon free time or walking tour with your tour leader.

Today you will explore the heart of Florence, starting with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. You will have the opportunity to climb Brunelleschi’s Dome, enjoying breathtaking views over the city while learning about one of the greatest masterpieces of Renaissance engineering. The visit continues with the ascent of Giotto’s Bell Tower, offering a different perspective on Florence’s skyline, followed by entry to the Baptistery of St. John, famous for its golden mosaics and historic bronze doors.
Enjoy a special tasting and dinner @Botteghe dei Sapori – Mercato Centrale!
Trasfer to Roma via private coachbus and hotel check-in.
Enjoy a leisurely walk through Villa Borghese, one of Rome’s most beautiful and historic public parks. Strolling along tree-lined paths and elegant gardens, participants will experience a peaceful contrast to the city’s lively streets. The walk concludes at the Pincian Terrace (Terrazza del Pincio), where the group can admire one of the most stunning panoramic views over Rome, overlooking Piazza del Popolo and the historic center. Dinner.
Morning visit to Campo de’ Fiori, one of Rome’s most lively and authentic squares. By day, the square hosts a colorful local market, offering a glimpse into everyday Roman life.
There will be the opportunity (to be confirmed) to visit an Italian High School and meet local students, allowing participants to engage in a cultural exchange and experience daily school life in Italy. This meaningful encounter encourages intercultural dialogue and offers an authentic insight into contemporary Italian youth and society.
In the afternoon you will experience a historical and artistic itinerary among the vestiges of Roman culture, discovering architecture, painting, sculpture which left an unforgettable trail all over the world: Foro Romano, Colonna Traiana, Arco di Tito and the Colosseo, symbol of the city. Dinner.

Today you will explore two of Rome’s most significant historical sites, beginning with the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. The visit continues at Castel Sant’Angelo: from its terraces, you will enjoy panoramic views over the Tiber River and Vatican City, while learning about the political, religious, and architectural history that has shaped Rome over time.
The group may have the opportunity to attend a football match at Rome’s Olympic Stadium, experiencing firsthand the passion and atmosphere of Italian football culture. This activity is subject to availability and confirmation based on the official Serie A calendar and match schedule.

Business class upgrades or flight deviations (from departure date/location or return date/location) must be requested and confirmed with the carrier. Any and ALL additional costs are the responsibility of the requesting participant/teacher.

TOUR PROGRAM
The Programs on the website are sample descriptions only.
Superciao Tour will insert the final Program and details in your website area, 30 days prior to departure and will inform the Group Leader and all the participants of all the Tour details: the DAY BY DAY. The Day by Day will provide all information pertinent to your trip.
PROGRAM CHANGES
SCT reserves the right to make any necessary changes pertaining to activities closures, or for reasons that jeopardize the safety of participants. SCT may cancel a Tour due to insufficient participants.
LAND ONLY
Participants may choose to purchase only the land portion of the trip. Participants must then make their own round trip travel arrangements and join the group at the first hotel accommodation. When a participant is not with the main group, SCT is not responsible for the participant in any way. Domestic or international flights or transfers of any kind outside SCT are responsibility of client: Tour participants who choose land only must arrange transportation from airport to the first hotel and vice versa on their own.
SCT will deduct $ 1000.00 from the package price quote.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs SCT incurs long before groups ever depart.
Notice of cancellation from a tour will only be accepted from the participant, his or her legal guardian or the group leader.
The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which SCT receives written notice to the following email addresses:

Cancellation refunds can only be made to the person whose name appears on the account; monies cannot be transferred to another account.
The refunds will be made within 50 days from the request.
* Non-refundable fees are also deducted from refunds.
** When a participant cancels the reservation but finds a person to replace him or her for the same Program.
PASSPORTS, VISAS & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A valid US passport is required for travel for US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport please contact your closest passport office. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after the return date. US citizens do not need to obtain visas for Italy. When and if visa is required it is passenger’s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate travel documents will incur usual penalties.
PASSPORT NAME
Participant’s name must be registered EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON ONE’S PASSPORT!
Upon receipt of the airline ticket, the passenger is responsible to check the itinerary, spelling of his/her name, dates, times to insure its validity. If the airline allows, it will charge a $ 250 change fee each time the ticket is altered. Once a ticket is issued, it belongs to person in whose name it was issued.
The participant will be responsible for any fees applied by the airline if exact information has not been provided. Should the ticket have any errors, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Superciao Tour srl immediately.
BAGGAGE
Each tour participant is advised to bring one suitcase and one small carry-on bag (8”x14”x22”). The Airlines New Baggage Regulations are as follows:
* For passengers travelling in Economy-Class: 1 piece at 50lb (23kg) maximum dimensions of 45 in. (158 cm); the sum of the 3 dimensions must not exceed 62 in. (158 cm) for each bag.
* Carry on Items: 1 piece maximum weight 18lb (8kg), maximum dimensions 22x15x8 in (55x40x20 cm).
Please check with your specific airline to verify the size and weight allowances.
Superciao Tour is not responsible for any loss, delay of or damage to luggage or its contents and for any event during the time the participants are not on board.
