Asiago

The town of Asiago has approximately 6,500 inhabitants and serves as the capital of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, also known as the Asiago Plateau. In addition to the main town center, Asiago is divided into many districts, a total of 26, and one hamlet, Sasso, which also has its own districts, numbering 11.
The districts of Asiago and Sasso often function as separate inhabited centers. One of the main districts of Asiago is the Pennar district, where you can find the Ca’ Sorda Agritourism. Asiago offers all the necessary services for a complete vacation. In addition to grocery stores with local typical products, boutiques, and shops of all kinds, you will find bars, pubs, pastry shops, and venues to suit every taste.
Green meadows and dense woods tell the tranquility of an unspoiled landscape: that of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities in the province of Vicenza. Asiago is its capital, and its name is associated with the eponymous DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) cheese, a delicacy for true connoisseurs.
In the town, a visit to the Leiten Military Shrine is worth considering, as it commemorates the Italian and Austro-Hungarian victims of World War I. You can also explore the Astrophysical and Astronomical Observatory. Don’t forget to savor the authentic flavors of this land by visiting the many mountain dairy farms and characteristic alpine refuges.
Moreover, there are cinema, theater, nightclubs, sports facilities, and recreational activities. This is where significant national and international cultural and sporting events are organized, including exhibitions, festivals, concerts, competitions, parties, meetings, conferences, and competitions.
