DAY 2: ARRIVAL IN FIRENZE AND PANORAMIC TOUR

In the afternoon tour are greeted at the airport by your Tour Leader.
Transfer to hotel accomodations via private coach bus, and stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Florence and take photos overlooking the city! The visit will also include the nearby Church of San Miniato al Monte, a remarkable Romanesque church offering both artistic and scenic highlights. Continue to your hotel and check in procedure. Strolling among the city centre and welcome dinner.

DAY 3: IN THE HEART OF FIRENZE

Morning tour among the most important vestiges of Renaissance culture: the city tour will start with a visit to the Piazza del Duomo, Battistero, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Campanile di Giotto and Palazzo Strozzi. The tour continues to the Galleria dell’Accademia to admire its masterpieces of Italian and European art from the 12th to 18th centuries, its impressive collection of Florentine and Tuscan painting, and Michelangelo’s magnificent David. Continue in the afternoon strolling among the most important vestiges of the medieval period in Firenze: Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Lungarno, Basilica di Santa Croce, Cappella dei Pazzi. Visit the traditional florentine leather factory and San Lorenzo’s open market.
Dinner.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO ROME AND STOP IN SAN GIMIGNANO AND SIENA

Transfer to Rome via private coachbus and stop in San Gimignano. Enjoy a short but unforgettable visit to San Gimignano, a charming medieval hill town: stroll through its cobblestone streets and admire the well-preserved architecture.
Finished the San Gimignano tour, transfer to Siena. The tour of Siena includes the historical center Piazza del Campo where all important events take place, such as the race of Pallium of Siena (horse race), Chapel of Piazza, Public Palace, the Dome, the Mangia Tower.
Continue to your hotel in Rome and check-in.
Dinner.

DAY 5: COLOSSEO AND FORI ROMANI

Morning walking tour with your tour leader to Campo de’ Fiori, wich offers a vibrant blend of history, culture, and local life. By day, the square hosts one of the city’s oldest open-air markets,  surrounded by charming medieval streets and artisan shops.
In the afternoon, move to the Pantheon, where the tombs of Italy’s most important kings are located.
Enjoy a historical and artistic itinerary among the vestiges of Roman culture, discovering architecture, painting, sculpture which left an unforgettable trail all over the world: Foro Romano, Colonna Traiana, Arco di Tito and the Colosseo, symbol of the city.

Historical and artistic itinerary strolling among Castel Sant’Angelo, San Pietro, Musei Vaticani and the Cappella Sistina.
In the afternoon guided tour through the town center, from Piazza di Spagna to Piazza Navona, where you can see these masterpieces: Piazza di Spagna, and the Trinità dei Monti, Palazzo del Quirinale (seat of the President of the Italian Republic), the Fontana di Trevi, Fontana dei Fiumi.

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO SORRENTO

Transfer to Sorrento via private coach bus and hotel check-in.
Stop at “AZIENDA AGRICOLA LA SORGENTE” (or similar) and visit typical cheese factory and enjoy a tasting offered by SCT.
Visit Sorrento, its narrow streets, its nature and the wonderful landscape: the town overlooks the Bay of Naples as the key place of the Sorrentine Peninsula, and many viewpoints allow sight of Naples itself, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri.
Enjoy Sorrento! The city is famous for its lemon trees and the production of limoncello, a digestif made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water and sugar. Taste other typical production like citrus fruit, wine, nuts and olives.
Dinner with pizza making night!

The last day offers a beautiful day in the Gulf of Naples with the crossing by motor boat to Capri island, one of the most famous Isles in the world.
Grotta Azzurra excursion (depends on weather and sea levels) – optional ADDITIONAL COST to be confirmed in advance with the tour leader.
